London Wetland Centre

WWT London Wetland Centre is a 105 acre wetland visitor centre in Barnes. An international award-winning visitor attraction, it is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The London Wetland Centre is home to a wide range of wildlife species including birds, water voles, bats and amphibians so there is always something to see, every day of the year. Facilities include six wildlife hides, the Water’s Edge Café, function rooms, an Observatory, a gift shop and free car parking. The Centre also has adventure play areas for children. It is an urban oasis for wildlife and people, just 10 minutes from Hammersmith.

Opening times

Summer opening time – from 1 March until October 31

9.30am to 5.30pm (last admission 4.30pm).

Winter opening time – from 1 November until February 28 (or 29 when relevant)

9.30am to 4.30pm (last admission 3.30pm).
